While processing descendants of Joseph Herrick of Salem, MA for the third edition of the Herrick Genealogical Register (HGR3) I found an error on page 462 of "Batchelder, Batcheller Genealogy" [BBG] compiled by Frederick Clifton Pierce, 1898.
Page 462 states that (4) Frederick Bancroft, son of (1125) Harriet Batchelder, married Ellen Temple and had two children. The 1870 and 1880 censuses for Reading, Middlesex Co., MA each show that (4) Frederisk's Brother (2) Solon Bancroft married Ellen Temple and had the two children listed on page 462 of [BBG]. SOLON is indexed as SABON by Ancestry.com and an addition of Solon has been requested for said index.
