Just checking back after being away from the Childress line for the last year. Looking for the parents of Alexander Childress born 1751 died Dec. 22, 1839, married Frances Warriner and then Temeperance Bennett. Rev. war service Virginia line, Montross. While looking at the service record a letter from Alexander is attached which states " after the service he entered into service with Col John Pleasants as his Miller at the N_____ Mills on 4 Mile Creek in the County of Henrico. Is this the same John Pleasants that bought b=property from Abraham Childress. If so, does anyone have my Alexander Childress ?? Marie
