Casey, I may be able to help you, once my own computer is up and running. I am descended from the "Heavilin" family from Jay Co., IN. They came from Cadiz, Harrison Co., OH. Maryland before that. NJ before that. My grandfather was McClellan Warren Heavilin, b. in Jay Co, moved to Grant Co. His father was George Sylvester Heavilin. His father was Jacob Briggs Heavilin, b. in OH. HIs father was Stephen W. Heavilin. His father was Samuel Heavilin, b. Dec. 16 1772 or 74, in NJ (but m. in Allegany Co., MD.) His father was Stephen Heavilin or Haviland?
