I am tring to find my fathers family,I know that he was adopted,at the age of 2,in 1923,by the tandys in emerson manitoba.His name before the adoption was Jack Griffiths lee.When he was adopted,not formally,or not through legal channels he was named after the person who had taken him,it was John James Tandy.
This took place in winnipeg,mb, and He had passed away in 1975.
Any help,such as trying to find the name of griffiths,or lee(not orental)in census,or hospital record,or where to find birth record.
