iam looking for info.on this man as he is my grandfather; he wa sborn in stratford ont.canada, nov of 1870 he was the 5th child an only son of george s. lye an margaret boag.
this george b. lye married a maud florence biathrow in kenosha wis.an from there they moved to chicago ill where the had 2 daughters maud belle lye an margaret marie lye [this is my mother]
from chicago they moved to cleveland ohio an in 1905 they had a son edwin george lye /
for some unknown reason thei sman walked ou to fth eap't they were living in 1908
an has never been heard frm since tha ttime //
this man was a tall slender person an he had a handle bar mustache an is belived to have 2 fingers missing on on of his hands.
i do not know where he went an have been unable to trace him ; i belive his parents were in chicago at this time an didn't find any info on him there ; it is also thought he might have gone bk to canada but neather one of thes eplace's have any info on him //
im in hope's some some where will have some knowledge o fthis person//////
