A Mahala appeared on a poor children's school list of Hall County Georgia for the years 1829 to 1830 with two other O'Barr children, Michael and Eliza or Elizabeth. They were the children of Michael no wife listed. They were all withdrawn and no idea where they went. If you contact me at my email address mobarr1954@worldnet.att.net, I will give you the information I have.
It is quite possible that this Michael was the brother of my husband's great-great grandfather, Thomas O'Barr. There is another brother, Robert, who was a Baptist minister.
