O'BARR, John, MD

Posted By: Joe DUKE
Date: 9/22/05

Rebecca Catharine HAYNES married John in ca. 1840.
Where the wedding occurred, I have no idea.
They were living in western Arkansas, and decided to migrate to central Texas, ca. 1850. There were three children. On the trip to the south-west, John left the caravan for some reason, and never returned. He disappeared, and was called lost. Rebecca later was married to William Adam DINWIDDIE in the community of Burton, in Washington Co., TX in the mid-1850's. William Adam raised the three O'BARR children along with his seven who lived to maturity. Their only son is my GF, and I want to find out about the origins of John O'BARR, MD. Where was he born, and who were his parents, and where did he get his medical training?? Thanks for all help!!
