looking for history on my family line

Hi all. I'm William R. Pafford, son of Waldo Russell Pafford, son of Robert Berrien Pafford Sr., son of John Franklin Pafford, son of Berrien Pafford, son of James Henry Pafford, son of Thomas Pafford, son of James and Mary (Matthews)Pafford (England). I just started looking up my ancestors and have found little to nothing so far. If you have any history or family infomation. I'd love to read it. I'd also like to continue the family tree past James Pafford (England) going back as far as possible. Thank in advance for any help.
