Nathan Pendleton

Posted By: Richard Simons
Date: 1/13/05

I have been searching for information about my GGG-grandfather Nathan Pendleton for three years to no avail. He married Mary Molly Niles (b.1772-d.1871). She was born on the Narragansett Indian Reservation, Washington Co., R,I. Together they had two sons Joshua and PETER, my GG-grandfather. Mary's father was James Niles II and he died around 1829. Peter and Sarah Fidler located to Neenah, Wi. about 1828 and he is recognized as the first non-white settler of Neenah. They had seventeen children and Peter lived to be 100 years old. Nathan is the mystery though,we don't know where he came from, his race or anything, really. Any help/info would be greatly appreciated! Richard "Cy" Simons - N7689ERiverRd -Bear Creek, Wi. 54922
