Dear Alex
I think I have come to a dead end in my search for the children of Jogn Logan and Christiana Mills (widow Ovans). They lived at Lachine in 1828 and their son Alexander was born in 1829. He migrated to Australia in about the 1850's. Yet there must have been more children as my father visited some relatives in Montreal in the 1920's or 30's. All I can do is hope that someone else will go looking for this family and add some more information.
