Hi,
My name is Matt Taintor. I know you are looking for other Tainter's but we most likely have a common ancestory since I have traced my geneology back to Charles Taintor and several generations after him I believe some of the family then began using Tainter rather than Taintor. If you are interested in comparing notes I would be happy to see if we have some common ancestors.
