My name is Henry Valdes. I am the youngest son of Henry O. Valdes, and Virginia Ann Nolan-Valdes. I have an older sister named Susan, and an older brother named Robert or Bobby as we called him.

My father was born in Havana in the 1930's and emigrated from Cuba in the mid-1940's with his mother Flora Castiniera-Rodriguez to New York City.

My father worked at the United Nations from 1958 to 1971 as a Security Guard, and got many of his relatives jobs there as well.

I do have relatives in Miami as well as in Cuba.
