I am interested in finding some information regarding my fathers' mothers side of the family. I have some details.
My grandmothers name was Sophia Lucy Wachter and she was born in Australia in 1894 after her parents, Christian Heinrich Wachter and Mother Karoline Gottliebin previously Kern came to Australia From Wuerttemberg around late 1880's , they were naturalised in Australia in 1911.
They had 7 children and most of them were born in Australia, Pauline Sophie the eldest was born in Neuenstadt in 1886. Their parents were Christian Simon Kern married to Johanne, and Karl Wachter who was married to Karoline Fisterer. There was a brother to Christian named Christian Gottlob Wachter born in Nuenstadt am Kocher Wuerttemberg in 1888 who came to Australia in 1887
