David Lewis family-1856 from Wales via Liverpool

Hi! I am looking for my grandfather. There is not much information on him, where he was born, (some say Florida).. when he was born....go figure. I am told that he died in Kansas City, Kansas, and that he was still a fairly young man when he had a heart attach and died. I beleive, if I remember correctly that he was 49 years old or so. I have no idea when or where he was born. I have nothing solid like a marriage licenses, death notice..nothing. I did find a social securty number once. I just have nothing. Huh, I only have one aunt living and she's not much help. (sickness) Grandma and grandpa had seven living children: four girls and three boys. They did lose two children at birth or shortly there after. Grandma's name was Cora (Ora) Almina Reed, and she was born in the year of 1900. She was born in the back of a covered wagon somewhere on the plains....who knows???? Grandma had two sisters and no brothers. Their names were Jessie and Myrtle Reed and I beleive grandma was the oldest. If there is anyone out there that has information that could help me or even come close to my information I would be forever grateful. Thank You All, For Your Time. Clydale Davis Cross
