Tapp Family History in Guernsey Channel Islands

I am trying to trace the history of the original settlors into Guernsey, being the ancestors and decendents of Samuel James Tapp born circ 1864 who married Jessie Reynolds. Both came from the Plymouth area, they had 7 sons and 1 daughter, several returning to the Plymouth area just before world war 1 in which 4 of the sons served, on eI know was killed, the other posted as missing. Anybody out there have any interest or information?
