Christian name 'Sirach'

Hello!I am currently compiling my family tree and have reached a dead end!I am studying my fathers side of the family and have got back to Daniel Allen married to Hannah Bone at 26/8/1797 living in White Yard,Stepney.Obviously with a name like Allen,because its so common,its quite tricky making any progress.However,his first son,christened at St Marys Whitechapel 1798 was christened Sirach.Can anyone help me with this name?I know its religous but would this name point to the family coming from a particular country or was this a common name at this time?Can anyone help?
