family cookbooks that treasure ancestors

To all those who love their children:

Last year I made a cookbook for my children.  Like most kids today, they eat mostly fast food.  The art of cooking is being forgotten.  My ancestors passed down treasured recipes and techniques that I did not want to be lost in my generation.

When it was done, there were many sections -- how to boil water --  right up to the best recipes.  I put pictures of, and stories about the people the recipes reminded me of.  I also put in cartoons and poems, and anything that passed on my love to them.  

The people who copied and bound the cookbooks wanted copies for themselves.  Everybody, including the local library, thought I should publish the book -- but I think it is for my family only -- then I thought . . .

Send me your pictures and stories with your treasured recipes.  

I will put together a similar cookbook for many families.  Let's honor our ancestors!  Send in as much as you want.  If they are accepted, I will notify you.  

The best things, money cannot buy.  Copies of the book will just as cheap as if you did it yourself, but only God knows the value to your children.
