I am aware that some of the Berment's left Trinidad many years ago, and now reside in Australia.
It will be great to get connected and discover our family tree that is almost lost.
Recently, I acquired information which dates back to the 1800 for the parents and grandparents of Stella Berment, who had 2 sons Egbert and Oswald Berment.(from Trinidad)
Egbert (now deceased) had 8 kids and Oswald had a few wives and a number of kids.

Rita and Edna lived in Belmont, Trinidad.
Stella's mother's name was Candilla (Brito) Berment and her father's name was Francis Berment (no further info on him)
Stella's grandmother & grandfather on her mother's side was Maria Cecelia Brito (no info on her maiden name) and Pedro Ecolastico Brito.(no previous info on him)..
