Hello Derek and other Forbisters:
My name is Gerald Forbister. My dad was George Ernest Forbister, from Pine Point Manitoba, my mother, Eileen P. Forbister (nee Pendleton) was from Liverpool. I am always suprised to find Forbisters anywhere. My sister traced our geneology to the Orkney islands as well and then lost the trail. Interesting note my maternal Uncle, John, lived in Perth Austrailia since the war. I have three sisters, one brother, three nephews named Forbister and two little girls named Forbister.
I beleive we have Ojibwa blood in our heritage as well, Ontario?.
