His Parents John William(dec) & Jean Carmody(dec) of Brisbane, Queensland.
My grandfather, John William the 1st- his parents came from Counties Cork & Kerry, Ireland. sometime in late 1800's ( can look into that one if you like)
Not sure if this is of any help, but we have alot of family in and around Brisbane.....I remember a reuninon when I was around 8 (1989) and I think there has since been a "Carmody Children" reunion in either 2002- or 2003.
