Looking for JOHN McAVOY

I am looking for my Uncle John McAvoy DOB 19/09/1934. He used to live in Glasgow, Scotland until he emigrated to Australia in the late 1950-1960. My father is called James McAvoy and another brother called Charles. Johns parents were John and Annie McAvoy. John had a wife called Margaret who I think died. He had three daughters one of which was Linda who I think was born in 1957. My father would love to know what became of John as he hasn't heard from him for about 40 years. I would be grateful for any information.
