Since I posted a message last year seeking information about my gt aunt Laura Gagan.
I have now been informed that she married in Hamilton, Ontario in August 1911 to Lawrence Yokker (a Dutchman) he died in Holland in 1912.
I do not know if Laura had a child or not, it does not seem to appear that way.
If anyone knows of Laura and about her marriage, would they please contact me. She died in 1950 and had given as her next of kin, her niece Mary Gartland, daughter of Laura`s sister Grace Gartland (nee Gagan)
Laura is buried in the Wentworth cemetery, Hamilton.
I have sent in an appeal to the local newspaper there, but I don`t know if it will appear or not, I have had no response to my letter. If anyone sees the appeal, would you please let me know, thank you.
Any information about Laura would be most appreciated, thank you.
