Joseph Canadian Veteran WW2

I am searching to find my grandad who was called Joseph and who served in England in 1943/1944.

He dated my grandmother Dorothy and had a baby girl who he may or may not have known about.

Dorothy lived in Tunbridge Wells Kent and had a sister called Rose.

I would love to find my grandad, my mum has never known anything about him and my granmother told her his name was Joseph, some people called him Jerry and he was a canadian soldier.

Please help if you have any info or a photo of a baby girl from england during ww2 who you suspect could be my mum born 16th May 1944.
