TRUMBO ALSACE, FRANCE

I´m an American who is currently living in Berlin, Germany. I have been searching any and all history connected with my family name TRUMBO. I am a decendant from ANDRIUS TRUMBO who came to America approx. 1728 from ( what Ive been told ALSACE, FRANCE ). However, I cant seem to find a passenger list containing my immigrant ancester ANDRIUS or his Wife Mary Magdelena and thier son Jacob H. ( could be Hans Jacob or Jacob Hans ). As we all know, many times the immagrants came to America and thier names were slightly changed. I´m not even possitive of the original spelling of our name. All I know is that we came from ALSACE, Lorraine, France and we spoke both perfect French and German. ( Alsace lies directly on the border between both countries)...If anybody has further information that could help me in my search... please contact me.
