Nageleisen surname

My ancestors left Germany (Baden-Baden) in the late 1840's from LeHavre, arriving in port of New Orleans, USA. My great-great grandparents are listed in the 1850 census in Ohio, USA. I traveled through Strasbourg France in 2003 (with a tour). I looked in the telephone registry in Strasbourg, there were several surnames of Nageleisen. The Nageleisen surname is an uncommon one in the USA; our known family very small. Any information would be so appreciated! Thank you
