Hi, Yvonne!
Thank you so much! Yes, thath IS my family. I know that when my grandmother, Jeanne, was a child, she was known as Jeannette de Crohare!
When I was a teenager (many years ago), we visited Anna Poey and her husband Frank in St. Isador de Prescott, their home town in Canada. Jean Luc and Marc were toddlers at the time.
My grandmother did not keep in close contact with the children of her sisters, so I have never met most of my relatives in San Francisco - although I grew up in California, too (Los Angeles).
Yes, I would love to have the addresses and phone numbers for Jacques Nouaux and Ferdinand Arnautou. I think that Marie Arnautou went backto Eysus after she left her husband Cyrelle Arnautou and that she died in Eysus (this is what I think based on what my grandmother told us), but I'd like to find out for sure.
Thank you so much for your efforts on my behalf. Isn't that something that your mother's childhood friend is my grandmother's neice and my cousin? The internet and genealogy certainly make this a small world don't they?
