I can trace my line from Hans Jacob and also Andrus Trumbo also. I live in Grand Junction, CO.
I have a book that was researched a while ago by a man from BYU in Utah. I understand that extensive searches have turned up no ship lists that positively substantiate Trumbo arival in the US. However a Niclas Trombauer with one son and 2 daughters appears on the Board of Trade List of the First Party of Palatines in London May 3, 1709. This may be the father of Andrus Trumbore (Dumbore, Trumbo) who is the father of Hans Jacob. This gets very complicated as records were not that good and names got changed. I have found the following names associated with Trumbo.
Trumbore, Drumbore, Trumpo, Trumbor, Trumbohr, Trumborn, Trumbole, Trumbourger. If you get this since you posed it in 2004, Please respond and maybe we can compare notes, I do know that my Grandson Josiah Malicai Trumbo is the 11th Generation from Hans Jacob. That is documented with birthdates, death dates, marrages and children listed. I also have 5 Generations of Wedding pictures and 7 generations of pictures.

I find this very exciting and hope to hear from you one day.
