Hi, I, too am related to the Dalaba Family.
I go back to William Dalaba, too. My great, great grandmother is Jennie Matilda Dalaba, who was born in Poultney, Vermont.
She married Waashing Irving Mott.
Jennie Matilda (Dalaba) Mott and Washington Irving Mott had two children:
Marion Pearl Mott (my grandmother) and
Hazel Mott
Marion Pearl Mott marrield John Ernest Fargo
(who are my grandparents.)
Hazel mott married Arthur Watrous
Marion Pearl and John Ernest Fargo had 7 children:
Wilbur Irving, Rozena, Jennie Matilda, Merrill Mott Fargo (my father), Justin Dalaba, Myrtice, and John Ernest, Jr.
Do any of these names link into any of yours?
I, too do not know where the Dalabas originated from, but my Aunt Jennie did mention something about being Irish.
I hope someone out there can tie into my line. I don't have much information, but I am willing to share what I do have. Thank you for any information.
