Seeking GGGGrandfather

Wendelin Braun, wife Anna Maria and son Johann/John arrived New Orleans, La USA on 15 June 1841. Ship was the Oceana. Wendelin b 1803, Anna b. 1805 and
John 1833. They settled in Belleville, Il in
the 1850's. They were coalminers. My information lists they were from Nassau or
Hesse Darmstadt. Please contact me if you
have any information on this family or any
relations left in Germany.
