I have not heard from the Hutchmans in Ameica, although I am aware that there are many in the United States in Pensylvania , Nebraska and elsewhere. I am descended from the Irish Hutchmans, who came from Northern Ireland. I, myself was born in Belfast but moved to Canada. Hutchman is not an Irish name. So far my cousin, W. E. Hutchman or Eugene (if you google his name you will find his website.) W.E. said that the Hutchmans came from Liverpool in around the 1830's to work on the railways at Downhill, Coleraine. I have not found any link
yet between the American and the Irish Hutchmans, although there probably is. You should try to get in touch with W.E Hutchman. If you like I could give you his e-mail or his mail address. I'm interesting in finding that connection myself. W.E. suspects that the family originally came from Germany in Brunswieg. I would lilke to hear from you. Laurence Hutchman
