Grandfather Kurt Berg

To all friends of East Prussia:
In 1937 my grandfather Kurt Berg must have been in a village called Montig near Deutsch Eylau (today Ilawa). He worked for a family called Jatzeck. Later, he didn't return from the war. So far I haven't found the slightest trace of him (my grandparents weren't married) because I haven't got any data like birthday, place of birth etc.
But if anyone out there knows someone who met him or even met him in person, please let me know!
