I'd like to know, too. If you haven't already corresponded with my brother, George Sproul, I'd strongly recommend it. He's the fanatic geniologist in the family. gsproul@ntelos.net There were multiple generations of John Sprouls in Virginia, and probably more than one branch of them between PA and VA. We've got 'em back to 1763 in western VA, but so far no leads "across the pond." Good luck. - Jim
