Hi I'm searchinf for families on my moms side;JockMcGuigan married a Margaret peggy Hughes in Monagan,Castleblaney,Ireland. They immigrated to ST.John's Island. Known as Prince Edward Island now. They left Ireland just before the Great famine. They are known as the Monagan Settlers and settled on Lot 61 St.Mary's RD. PEI Canada. My moms mother was Ann Mae McGuigan married Frank Leonard Marshall 7/Sept/1923 in New Glasgow Nova scotia. she had sister Florence who married a Clive Sommers/Summers, Brother Vincent married Agnes C.McLean, James married Bertha Davidson. Their parents were Edward and Mary McKearney/McKarney, McGuigan. I believe Edwarrds father was James. Anyone with info please email me. Edward moved to Nova Scotia and Mary was killed by a car in Trenton NS,In 1923. Edward went back to PEI and remarried? he drowned?

Also looking for dads mothers family LeLacheurs. They were French Hugenauts and fled to Channel Islands. Jean ( John ) married Anne Roland, LeLacheur in LaFloret Church in Ireland. Their son Elisha married Martha LeVallet and had a son jean who married a Elizabeth Windsor they immigrated to PEI Canada also. They had a lot family there. Their son jean married a Elizabeth Sencabaugh in Murray Harbour PEI. They moved to Iowa but two sons stayed in Rhode Island. Paul and William. William married a Jessie McKensie and has son William who married christina catherine McKinnon. they were my greatgrandparents. William and Cathrine married in providence Rhode Island. Their kids were Beatrice Ruth, Marion, Jessie Christine my grandmother who married William Henry Luddington in New Glasgow Nova Scotia Canada. A son William was born in Nova Scotia.
