my great-grandfather, Thomas Benedict O'Brien, was a brother to Michael Collins maternal grandfather, James O'Brien...Michaels brother, Patrick, who became a captain in Chicago Police Force, before I was born, used to visit my father's farm frequently and my father used to spend days in Chicago with my grandfather, visiting and seeing the sights...have several pics of Patrick with my father...
