Hi Patty,
My maternal gr.grandpa was John Godsell. I think he died in Ire. but notsure. My gr.mother was Rosanne Godsell born in Wales and married John Murphy in Penn. U.S. and he was from Cork, Ire. Her mother was Margaret Bryan of Cork, Ire. I think John Godsell may have also been born in wales or Eng.(Leeds?)He was a teacher and traveled the U.K. He had a son James, and daughter's Anne, Mary, Rosanne (my grandma).
