I am looking for information about my grandmothers family,
margreat was an unwed mother in 1929 she had two children james (my dad) and a daughter margreat ( aka peggy). My granmother was sent to the workhouse in enniscorthy wexford and she remained there till her death in 1956-7 when the workhouse had been converted to a hospital. peggy and james were put into st francies orphanage and later peggy went into service were we do not know, james was sent to work on a farm at a very early age again we have no info as dad was very closed mouthed about his past, james came to england in about 1950-54 he married sheila o'callaghan and had 10 children i am the eldest daughter. peggy later married and lived either on a barge or houseboat again we have few details she had children but who she married and the childrens names remain unknown.
if any one has any details of my grandmother, or her family especieally her mother and father and any brothers and sisters i would be extreamly greatful.
