I am a Jaconelli living in the London area. Family moved down from Glasgow in the 60's.

Dad Emilio, deceased, Mum Jean, 78 and doing well!

Grandad Luigi and Gran Anna, had fish & chip shop in Glasgow in the 60's. Both deceased in the late 70's.

Family also from Lazio region, St Biagio, where I get my middle name from.

I know of Jaconelli's in Scarborough, Bradford, Glasgow and London.

I have heard my mother speak of the family Capaldi, but don't recognise the name Vettese.

I think my family changed the name from Iaconelli to Jaconelli, although one of the other posts suggests that this may be the other way around. Don't think so though.

Nice to know there is still a few of us left around the World!

PS: Was told once that we could have been Giaconelli. Don't know if true though.
