hi rob,
just read your info with interest. my father rudolfo jaconelli was one of 13 children. he is now deceased but was born in newcastle after his parents settled there his parents having came over from frisinone/casino area and a village called san genaro - it is very remote and i have been to the family home and took my father before he died - sadly the house is in ruin but it must have been very grand in its day. my father mentioned the capaldi family and i think we are related but regretfully when i was younger i did not take much interest. i am now in my 30's and trying to get as much info as i can so any help you can give would be helpful. although i never met my grandparents i am told my grandfathers name was Alberto jaconelli and my grandmothers name was Maria Pacitti and i did hear that my grandparents may have been distant cousins when they maried but not sure if this is true.
