My wife´s family came from the small mountain village San Biagio, close to Cassino, to Sweden in 1946. Her fathers name was Antonio Palombo. Her grandmother (on her mothers side), Lucia, was married to a Gerardo Jaconelli who died as a soldier in the first world war.

My wife (Silvana Pedersen, born Palombo) has a cousin in Glasgow but my wife has got many cousins.
