Dear marina!

You are right. My mothers name was Maria Palombo, born Jaconelli, and her parents were Lucia and Gerardo Jaconelli (or Iaconell). Lucia was very old when she died , about 95. Gerardo died during the first world war as a soldier and is buried in a war cemetery in Asiago. I have three sisters. Two are twins and one of these twins, Elisa Arcari, lives in Strömstad. Her twin sister Filomena Palombo lives in Linköping and my third sister Anna Cocozza lives there too. I am the youngest of the children and the only one who was born in Sweden.

Nearly every summer I visit my sister in Strömstad so I could have met your father but it is also possible that he mistakes me for another sister.

Of the other people you mention I have no knowledge or memory.
