The purpose of this note is to unite with all of you with Mendivil lastname. By reading each entry, I notice the tread...My grandfather's name was Antonio Mendivil Navarrete who was originally from Quiriego/Alamos/Navojoa Sonora Mexico. My tata kept information about his family to himself. However, he shared that his mother's name was Isabel Navarrete and his father's name was Jose Maria. Tata's story was that his mother died at the time of his birth and he was raised by Loreto...I don't know if Mendivil or Navarrete in Alamos, Navojoa or Quiriego Sonora Mexico. I don't know anythinig about great-grandpa Jose maria. My tata named his kids Antonio, Isabel, Francisco, Manuel, Eduardo, Margarita, Alejandrina, Maria, Elvira, Carmen, Lugarda and Jesus Maria (last one is my father). My Mendivil family lived (still have Mendivils there) in Estacion Llano, Hermosillo, and died in Querobabi Sonora, next to Benjamin Hill, Son.
At the present, I am planing a family reunion in Querobabi Sonora Mexico in Novemebr or December that you are invited to attend. And if you are driving by Querobabi and want to connect with us you are welcome to find my cousin Gilda Mendivil. Ella les da la bienvenida. Yo vivi en Phhoenix Az. por 27 anos y my residencia ahorita es en Las Cruces Nuevo Mexico. Tambien soy la segunda familia Mendivil en mi calle.
