Thanks for your cordial response to my feeble attempt to assist you. That is wonderful that you are closer now and might be able to find time to see the records. I would point you to an LDS Family History Center, but I notice that a lot of the Bilbao and Basque are microfilms include a note that states something like "acceso en España limitado a miembros de la iglesia" (meaning that for whatever reasons, the general public in Spain can not get access to the microfilms of the LDS Church). I do not think this is LDS policy, but something they worked out with the Catholic owners of the registers there in Spain. Anyway, if you have difficulty (which maybe you will not given your ecclesiastical status) or if you find information in the actual registers and then need further assistance with the films (and you can not access them) please do let me know. I will have some time this summer (June, July and August when school is out) and would be happy to help in any way I can.
