3 MENDIVIL BROTHERS

I am looking for any information on my MENDIVIL/MENDIBLE family roots in Spain. Our oral family history is that 3 Mendivil brothers went to Sonora, Mexico around 1770's. They were Italian citizens, their mother being Italian. One of the brothers my ggggg-grandfather was Francisco Mendivil. They owned land in Alamos, Sonora, Mexico. Names of the other brothers are not known. Francisco had many children my gggg-grandfather, his son was named Luis Maria Antonio Martin Mendivil married a Maria Geronima Munoz/Munos on Jan. 02, 1789 in Alamos, Sonora, Mexico.
