I don't know if this is the same Hynd family or not but all of my family are from Dunfermline. I don't recognise the names but I personally don't know he family any further back that my grandparents. I know nothing of their brother/sisters either.
I have just started compiling my family tree but haven't done much on that side yet although I have plenty of sources of information for it.
What further information do you have on William Hynd? Do you know if he was linked in any way to Robert Hynd? He was my grandfather (now deceased). He lived in Dunfermline all of his life and married Isabella (my gran) although I can't remember her maiden name right now.
If any of this remotely matches I would be able to provide you with more information quite easily.
