My greatgrandfather is Jesse (Jepe)Sidney Cornell, born 1812/1850 in TN, and died 20 Feb 1885 in /Dover, Pope, AR. Jesse married Lucinda McLord/McLard in TN. My grandfather is Richard Calvin Cornell--he married Maude Sidney Miller. All of the Cornells attest to Native Ammerican blood. Some relatives say Cherokee, some say Seminole, and even Mohawk. My grandmother, Maude Miller's mother was Mary Jane McFadden Pointer/Poynter--I thought perhaps the Native American was on the Poynter side, but am just not sure. Could my Cornells be related to these peoples? Thank you--NM
