Doughty family

Does anyone know anything about this family, Richard and Elizabeth Birch-Clewes Hails, Richard
Hails was born July 31, 1837 Gateshead, Durham City, Durham co. Elizabeth was born October 13, 1841 Durham co. her parents John and Mary Birch. Elizabeth used the name Clewes, on her marriage license she was listed as Elizabeth Birch and her parents names were also listed, but on my great-grandfather George Nelson Hails birth certificate she listed her maiden name as Clewes. Their children were William 1859, Jane 1860, John 1862,
Ellen 1865, Sarah Ann 1867, Richard 1871, George N
1874, Edward 1876,. They family migrated to America in 1882-1883. William Hails was the only child not to migrated with his parents and sibling. If anyone is doing William's genealogy I would like very much to hear from them. I am the great-granddaughter of George Nelson Hails.
