I am very interested in your comment about Bourhills being decendants from the Hugonauts who escaped persecution in France by fleeing to Scotland in the 1500's. Have you been able to trace any of the Bourhills back that far? So far, I have only been able to go back about 1710-1725 with my Inveresk Bourhills(and I am not even certain if I have the correct people after the mid 1700s).
