Hi Evelyn,
The info you mentioned that was of interest to me was that Charles Court Finniss' father was John and his mother was Mary Court. I have traced the Finniss family all over the place--Mauritius, India, South Australia, New Zealand, and the list goes on. I don't have a new "Finniss Forest", but I have an enormous amount of Finniss research going back to about 1600. I also write to a "cousin" in British Columbia whose husband is a descendant of Mark Finniss (one of Charles' sons). It is indeed a small world.
