Please help inYorkshire

I am trying in vain to get someone to e-0mail me from Yorkshire One of my relatives claims on his census form that he was born on the Atlantic coming from Yorkshire to Canada (Ontario) This would have been about 1798..We have no record of parentage or ship line. and no family stories to go by. Are there any Beaver familys in Yorkshire or England that have missing ancestors from that time frame. I have a relative who is going to England next summer and we would appreciate some Parish names or areas where a search could be made. Can anyone help?? Thanks from an English Beaver in Canada. Also some people here claim that the name Beaver, from England is also a Native (North American Indian) name. are there any opinions on this? Thanks again, Alice
