My father and mother, Thomas and Jean Bourhill imigrated to Vancouver Canada, in May 1957 from Motherwell, Scotland. Jean Bourhill returned to Motherwell to have her first child, (me) Barbara Bourhill. She returned to Vancouver to rejoin her husband and begin a new life in Canada. They had 4 more children, John, Heather, Linda and Lisa. I have some information about the family in Scotland and do know that we were decendants from the Hugonauts who escaped persecution in France by fleeing to Scotland in the 1500's.
